Morning catamaran sailing

The private half day morning charter leaves from the beach at Planet Hollywood at 8 30 am and returns by 12 O Clock. This 4 hour ocean experience will take you sailing west, towards a secluded beach located near the end of the Papagayo Peninsula.

The trip includes open bar, light foot items served onboard, snorkeling, fishing rods, paddle boards and a very pleasing and profesional crew.

Sunset private sailing

The 4 hour sunset charter is ideal for those who wish to see the colorful sunsets that happen in the area. 

We will pick you up on the beach in front of Planet Hollywood at 2 pm and you will return by 6 pm, just in time before dark but with the opportunity to enjoy the magical sunsets typical of the Papagayo Peninsula.

The sunset charter includes open bar, food, items, snorkeling, apddle boards and visiting a secluded beach.

Full day private sailing charter

The full day private catamaran trip is right for you if you wish to share an entire day on the ocean with your friends, family or coworkers.

Leaving from the beach in front of the hotel at 10 am, it returns after the sunset, by 6 pm.

During the trip you have fishing rods, snorkeling, paddle boards and great music sound system included.

You will also visit a secluded beach, where the crew will prepare a delicious BBQ lunch served on the pristine sand, while you can continue enjoying snorkeling, bathing, swimming or paddle boarding.

Morning half day sailing tour

Sugar Beach Hotel is ideally located between Flamingo, Potrero and Las Catalinas. The hotel offers a perfect beach for direct pick up from right on the beach. The ocean is normally calm there, so the pickup with the boat is perfect.

The half day morning trip begins at 8 AM and finishes around 12.

It includes snorkeling, sailing ( catamaran or mono-hull sailboat ), spending time at a nearby secluded beach ( where you will be able to enjoy snorkeling, swimming or in case of some boats, sup stand up paddle boarding and using ocean kayaks to explore.

Sunset sailing

Morning tour ( 4 hours )

The tour includes snorkeling, sailing and spending time on a secluded private beach, where no human development can be traced. Trolling fishing is also included. The tours include drinks, alcoholic and non – alcoholic, fruit juice, water, sodas, fruit snacks like chips and dips,

Sunset Tour ( 4 hours )

The sunset sailing tour is the most popular trip out of Las Catalinas, since it include everything the morning tour does, but you will also be able to watch the colors of the sun going down the horizon while you are still on the ocean, sharing a drink or cocktail with your friends.

Full day ( 8 hours )

The Full Day private catamaran sailing tour departs at 10 in the morning and returns by 6 in the afternoon. It includes everything the morning tours do, but besides that and more time away, also an amazing and delicious BBQ lunch, served right on the beach at one of the many secret beaches we include in our trips.

Las Catalinas is a beachfront residential community located on Playa Dantas, a very nice beach in Central-North Guanacaste.

Like all the tours in this part of Guanacaste, it includes snorkeling, SUP boards, great food and drinks ( chips, dips, burritos, fresh fruit, juices, water, sodas and also endless alcoholic drinks and beers ( Not the imported ones ) Our trips focus on exploring the beauty of nature and secluded beaches and snorkeling sites.

One of the highlights in the area include Playa Huevos and Nacazcolito, two fantastic beaches located in the outside of the Papagayo Golf abnd Bahia Culebra.

Sunset Tour

Our suggested tour departure time is 1:30, with a later afternoon return around 6:00.

The tour includes very good food and drinks onboard, including beer, sodas, water, fruits and juicy, Rum, Vodka, Whiskey and cocktails and snacks, normally dips and chips, but also might be Burritos.

Lunch can also be included with an extra charge. The tour includes snorkeling while anchoring at a secret beach and reef spot, away from the crowds.

Discover the marine wildlife, the colorful fish, enjoy SUP or sea kayaking. Or if you are less interested in adventure and sports, just relax, sunbathe, talk, enjoy the breeze and the unforgettable scenery. The highlight ? The amazing sunsets seen from the open ocean.

Full Day

The full day sailing tour departs early in the morning.

Sailing away from the coast at around 8AM, we will first head out to open ocean, while silently sailing along the coast near and around rocky islets, reefs and rocky pinnacles to a secluded beach.

After anchoring, people can enjoy endless snorkeling in these pristine waters, sea kayaking around the coast, or go for some occasional fishing.

Meanwhile, for those staying onboard, comfort is there… spacious seating areas, large salon and table, spacious deck for sunbathing or sightseeing.

Enjoy delicious snacks and food, fresh fruit, drinks, cocktails, a cold beer, bottled water or sodas. A delicious lunch is also included.

Choose from many destinations to visit, from Murcielago Islands, to exotic and untouched beaches. After finalizing the experience of watching the sunsets from the ocean, we will head back to the hotel.

Half Day Morning

The morning 4 hour tour leaves shore at 8 AM and head to open water.

Enjoy sailing along with the fresh ocean breeze, watch occasional dolphins jumping, perhaps even whales when it is seasons, or some sea turtles.

The tour also includes a stop in a special site for snorkeling. There, we can also take out the ocean kayaks, or do some paddle boarding around the boat if you like.

Food includes Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, chips, tortillas, Burritos or Sandwiches. After plenty of time swimming in the ocean, resting near a secluded beach, we will commence the journey back.

Trip also includes plenty of drinks, sodas, beers, alcoholic drinks and cocktails, fresh fruit. A perfect private sailing trip. Departures daily. Please advice in advance if possible.

Sunset Tour

Come with us and enjoy the fantastic colorful sunsets that are traditional in Guanacaste.

This 4 hour trip starts at 1 30 pm. Until the sun sets, you will enjoy the fresh breeze while sailing near beautiful sites, rocky pinnacles, islets, beaches or watch the entire coastline from a far distance.

Snorkeling at a special snorkeling site is also included. You can also hop on one of the Ocean Kayaks and explore more.

Some boats carry paddle boards. Great food is also included, Burritos, some sandwiches, fresh fruit, chips and dips, sodas, beer, alcohol, fruit juices.

When the time has come, everybody on deck and enjoy the orange, red, pink, purple, blue colors of the sunset while the sun rapidly set hiding under the Horizon.

Pick up and return from the hotel included. Full day trips are also available.

Full Day Sailing

Start at around 9 AM in the morning.

After the departure, we will commence our full day sailing trip, discovering the beauty of the coast in Guanacaste and the Pacific Ocean.

The adventure combines free sailing through the sea with stops at rocky reefs and secluded beaches for snorkeling, ocean kayaking and if requested also paddle boards.

It does not matter if you are an Expert or Beginner, you will be able to enjoy none the less.

Food onboard includes delicious snacks, like chips, mole and Pico de Gallo, sandwiches or Burritos and a full lunch. Drinks included are beer, cold sodas, bottled water, alcoholic drinks and cocktails.

After enjoy sailing for miles, admiring the scenery, sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling, we will all enjoy the sunset from onboard the boat. Late afternoon evening return ( after sunset ). Different boats available.
