We offer a private snorkeling tour departing from Conchal. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours, and includes all necessary equipment (fins, snorkels and masks) of various sizes.

All the equipment on the boat is well maintained, and together with our knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff, we will do our best to take you to the site with the best possible visibility and where there are the most opportunities to see fish and other marine life.

The boat

Our boat, the Seahorse, is an ideal boat for snorkeling tours, as it was designed for scuba diving.

It is a hard bottom inflatable boat which has powerful engines and all the necessary equipment to get you to the site faster, more comfortably and safely.

The Seahorse is equipped with all the necessary technology to make the tour not only safe, but also comfortable.

In addition, all snorkeling equipment, masks, snorkels and fins are of excellent quality and are constantly maintained.

It is important that you please let us know the size of your shoes, especially if you have large feet. In this way, we make sure that during the snorkeling you feel comfortable and can live the best experience.

Visibility is often not as impressive as it is in the Caribbean, or the Maldives, or the Mediterranean, but nevertheless, it is usually good to very good.

What makes Costa Rica and its snorkeling stand out is that the bottom is usually rocky reefs, with some coral, but with an impressive amount of large animals to be seen.

The boat

The Seahorse is the ideal boat for a fun and safe snorkeling adventure. It is especially designed for snorkeling and scuba diving, and it fits 10 people easily.

The captain, crew and snorkel guide are not only knowledgeable, but also highly professional and fun at the same time.

The tour includes well kept fins, masks and snorkels. The fins come in various sizes, from children to adults. ( In case you have an extraordinary shoe size, please advice in advance )

The experience

Our trip departs from Flamingo and will head north, normally to a beautiful secluded beach with abundant rocky reefs which are the best places for snorkeling.

The guide and crew will search for the best visibility, but some of the beaches we visit include Playa Amor, Guacamayita, Dantita or similar beaches. They are chosen accordingly ( Vidsibility is the priority )

Once at the site, you will get ready for the underwater experience, during which you might very well encounter large schools of colorful coral fish ( Angels, Surgeons, Puffers, Lip fish, Diamond Fish ), as well as moray eels, rays, perhaps nurse sharks and white tip reef sharks.

The trip includes water and some fruit, which is served during the optional paus while snorkeling in the area.

Snorkeling in Costa Rica and in Guanacaste is quite intense, since there are options of watching larger animals than in other places on earth. Although we do not have large coral reefs, there are corals, and also interesting rocky reefs and caverns and pinnacles, the favorite habitats for the marine wildlife.

How is snorkeling from Flamingo, Guanacaste ?

Snorkeling in general in Costa Rica is different from some famous dive and snorkel destinations, such as the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean or the Mediterranean.

The visibility might not be as good, yet still good to very good. When it comes to wildlife, Costa Rica offers the chance to see large animals, including rays, moray eels, large schools of fish, sharks ( white tip reef sharks and nurse sharks ), corals, sea turtles and many colorful coral fish ( Surgeon, Diamond, Angels )

What we offer:

Amazing unique private experiences to remote secluded places, while still enjoying all the services and amenities onboard. What we do:

We offer three basic private charters, which can be booked with a catamaran , a classic sailboat and also yachts.

Half day tour in the morning

This private tour departs at 8 and will be back by 12. It includes open bar, snorkeling, paddle boarding ( in most cases ) as well as food items and open bar. You get to spend time near a secluded beach.

Private half day tour in the afternoon

The private sunset sailing charter includes open bar, foot items, snorkeling, paddle boarding and visiting a remoter secluded beach. You get to see the sunset from onboard the boat.

Private full day tour

The full day t5our is for those interested in a full day ocean experience, during which you visit a remote secluded beach, enjoy snorkeling around a rocky pinnacle or reef, visit a remote natural unspoiled beach and enjoy the onboard services, which include open bar, light food menu and cocktails. Nosara Catamaran Sailboat Charter

The Nosara is a sailing catamaran that operates private tours in the area of Nosara, Guiones, Pelada, Garza, Samara and Punta Islita.

It is a vintage model lovingly refurbished and well maintained. It has two bathrooms and capacity to sleep 6 people, in the case of multi-day tours.

The catamaran has a maximum capacity of 15 people, and only offers private tours. It is anchored in Bahia Garza, a short distance from Nosara, Guiones and Playa Pelada.

It has plenty of deck space, where guests can sunbathe, as well as an indoor lounge, where people can take refuge from the heat or enjoy a nice drink or cocktail prepared right there.
