Our main goal is to reach the Catalina Islands, however, in case the conditions are better elsewhere, the trip can take you elsewhere also.

Our crew will always indicate which site is best as far as the best visibility and the best chance to see underwater wildlife.

The boat is anchored d in Flamingo Beach, and it is totally equipped with all the necessary snorkeling gear for a great 4 hour private trip.

The boat

The Seahorse is an inflatable hard bottom speedboat equipped with all the necessary equipment for an ocean experience. The boat comes with Radio, emergency pump, safety wests, emergency equipment and all the necessary for a fun and amazing underwater experience.

The gear

The Seahorse carries a well-kept and modern collection of masks, fins and snorkels. Fins of various sizes can fit children all the way to adults.

The experience

Our staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The crew has abundant experience in both snorkeling and scuba diving, and thereby, knows a lot about species encountered, safety procedures and the best snorkeling spots along the coast.

How is snorkeling from Flamingo, Guanacaste ?

Snorkeling in general in Costa Rica is different from some famous dive and snorkel destinations, such as the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean or the Mediterranean.

The visibility might not be as good, yet still good to very good. When it comes to wildlife, Costa Rica offers the chance to see large animals, including rays, moray eels, large schools of fish, sharks ( white tip reef sharks and nurse sharks ), corals, sea turtles and many colorful coral fish ( Surgeon, Diamond, Angels )

What we do:

We offer three basic private charters, which can be booked with a catamaran , a classic sailboat and also yachts.

Half day tour in the morning

This private tour departs at 8 and will be back by 12. It includes open bar, snorkeling, paddle boarding ( in most cases ) as well as food items and open bar. You get to spend time near a secluded beach.

Private half day tour in the afternoon

The private sunset sailing charter includes open bar, foot items, snorkeling, paddle boarding and visiting a remoter secluded beach. You get to see the sunset from onboard the boat.

Private full day tour

The full day t5our is for those interested in a full day ocean experience, during which you visit a remote secluded beach, enjoy snorkeling around a rocky pinnacle or reef, visit a remote natural unspoiled beach and enjoy the onboard services, which include open bar, light food menu and cocktails. The Nosara is a sailing catamaran that operates private tours in the area of Nosara, Guiones, Pelada, Garza, Samara and Punta Islita.

It is a vintage model lovingly refurbished and well maintained. It has two bathrooms and capacity to sleep 6 people, in the case of multi-day tours.

The catamaran has a maximum capacity of 15 people, and only offers private tours. It is anchored in Bahia Garza, a short distance from Nosara, Guiones and Playa Pelada.

It has plenty of deck space, where guests can sunbathe, as well as an indoor lounge, where people can take refuge from the heat or enjoy a nice drink or cocktail prepared right there.

The best advice and the selection of boats is very profesional. I loved the fact that the company runs 4 catamarans, al of them great. The charter was perfect. Great sailing crew, excellent onboard service, food and the drinks and service in general fantastic. The snorkeling gear is first quality. Very good and a statement to the service of this country. We booked the afternoon tour because we wanted to see the sunset. After 2 hours of sailing, BLAM, rain, not a heavy rain, but hey, you can't control the weather today. Even so, with everything and rain it was a very fun tour. And as planned, at the end of the tour, it stopped raining and we could see the wonderful colors of these incredible sunsets as we sailed towards the hotel.

Great day trip, awesome food. The full day trip to Playa Guacascolito was just perfect. Food was superb, fresh fish. Loved the fact that it was really very secluded, we were not used to that but that was an experience beyond what we have ever had before. Just us, nature and service.

Great food, great staff, luxury and confort but still nature and beautiful lonely beaches as the main highlight.
